Clean and classy looking with a mercifully restrained use of animations, InterCasino’s website sports a lovely console feel with really well executed navigation to satisfy the needs of newcomers and returning members alike. We had no problems hunting down typical newcomer information, and we especially liked the small video previews available in the ‘Online Casino Games’ section of the site which sell the InterCasino experience far better than a few screengrabs of the game screens. A nice touch (and one we suspect rival UK online casinos will probably copy from InterCasino in due course!)hat simply don’t play nicely with Mac web browsers, but Coral's games do work without any problems. Well done Coral for getting this right!

We were interested to see that InterCasino has quietly dropped one previously prominent feature from its site, in the shape of Jane Bentley, the rather glamorous online Casino Manager who greeted visitors at the Home Page of its UK casino and stalked the virtual tables offering ad hoc comp bonuses. Depending on your viewpoint, this feature was either a bit of gimmicky eye-candy for attracting sad, male players, or a nice touch to enhance the re-creation of the atmosphere of a real-world club. Us? Well, we’re certainly not going to mark InterCasino down for this change, and we did note (buried at the bottom of InterCasinos’s ‘About Us’ information page) that while Ms. Bentley is no longer draped all over the InterCasino website, she is still apparently roaming the tables at weekends dispensing spot prizes – we didn’t see here, but do send her our regards if you do!

Moving on to the far more important issue of this UK casino’s games, InterCasino was the pioneer of using Cryptologic's renowned gaming software on the Net, and this fruitful partnership has lead to the development of a suite of online casino games that really are quite superb in their realism. The choice of free and real money games in Intercasino’s Download Casino is huge (and still growing), with live chat facilities and all the classic casino table games offering single, multiplayer and private multiplayer options. Such is the choice we find it difficult to imagine a player who couldn't find something to float their boat here. This level of realism and choice does mean that the software download needed is relatively big, however you can always order a free CD of it if your Internet connection is really painfully slow; whatever you choose to do, the quality of the games here means that any wait to play them will be well worth it! You will need a PC running Windows 98 or later to enjoy these download games, but, other than that, installing the games and registering an account with InterCasino is clearly guided and, above all, trouble free.
A new development we’re pleased to see since we last reviewed InterCasino is that it’s stopped hiding its Instant Play Casino light under its online bushel. Previously found as a shy and retiring link tucked away in the text of its 'Why Choose Us?' page under the 'Multi-platform support . . .' subheading, InterCasino have since given it proper billing in its main website navigation. We like online casinos that offer both download and non-download options, so found it curious that InterCasino used to be so shy of linking its customers to its Instant Play delights from the home page. Why such excitement about Instant Play games? Well, this casino allows non-Windows users to enjoy the InterCasino experience, widening its appeal to anyone with a computer that can run Flash games, which is pretty much anyone online! Whilst there are a few limitations compared to the full-fat, Download Casino – notably no Baccarat amongst the reduced selection of games, single player games only, and no ‘practice play’ function to try out a selection – the quality of the games still lives up to the very high standards we’ve come to expect from InterCasino and Cryptologic.
